Michelle Detweiler
President and CEO - PARC

We are honored to welcome Michelle Detweiler, President & CEO of the Parc Center for Disabilities, as our July luncheon speaker.

A lifelong resident of the Suncoast area, Michelle grew up in St. Petersburg and has spent her career serving communities across Pinellas and Manatee counties. With a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Jacksonville University and an MBA from Tampa College, Michelle has held leadership roles in both the nonprofit and business worlds — including with the American Red Cross, Detweiler’s Propane Gas Service, and the international company IRISS, Inc. Her career came full circle in 2021 when she was named President & CEO of Parc, following in the footsteps of her late father, Bert Muller.

Michelle’s passion for empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities is matched by her dedication to community service. She’s a graduate of Leadership Manatee, Leadership Pinellas, and Leadership St. Pete, and currently serves on the CEO Council of Tampa Bay, the St. Petersburg Area Chamber Board of Governors, and the Tampa Bay Watch Leadership Council.

Michelle brings more than 35 years of experience in business, fundraising, and nonprofit leadership — but it’s her heart for service that shines most. We look forward to hearing from this impactful local leader as she shares her insights and inspiration with us.
