COMMUNITY COLLAGE BRINGS THEIR INTERACTIVE POP-UP PORTRAIT STUDIO TO THE 2025 SAINT
PETER ART STROLL
Saint Peter, MN, August 21, 2025 — Community Collage is thrilled to announce its participation in thefourth annual Saint Peter Art Stroll, set for September 20–21, 2025.
This city-wide, two-day event spans multiple studios, galleries, and participating businesses, inviting the public to meet artists, explore their work, and enjoy demonstrations and workshops throughout Saint Peter. As part of the event, Community Collage will bring its signature pop‑up portrait studio to The Gathering, located at 1042 Old Minnesota Ave, Suite 400, Saint Peter, MN 56082, alongside guest artists. The free, uplifting community pop-up invites guests to step in front of the camera for a live portrait session with celebrity photographer and Founder Josh Madson, including real time projections, instant digital mementos, and the chance for participants to become part of future large-scale public art
and mural installations.
The Community Collage signature pop-up studio will feature a full professional setup, creating a dynamic environment where guests take part in a high-quality, yet relaxed photo session. Participants will be photographed by Founder Josh Madson, in a classic black-and-white portrait style. Attendees can watch live portrait sessions as they happen, with images projected to monitors in real time, fostering a fun, inclusive, and interactive environment. Using the project’s custom software, guests can instantly select and receive their digital portraits onsite, leaving with a snapshot that celebrates community, diversity, and inclusivity. Portraits captured through the project have the opportunity to then become part of
evolving large-scale public art murals and installations displayed across the country.
What started as a series of local events has continued to grow into a major community project, encompassing over 13,000
subjects to date. Since then, Josh has expanded Community Collage to internationally renowned organizations, universities, and communities nationwide. Community Collage will appear at The Gathering alongside guest artists:
Signe Jane of Swampy Sig Art, a queer mixed media artist based in Saint Peter whose work includes evocative watercolor paintings and irreverent collages. Signe will also host an interactive space where visitors can create collage art alongside them.
Cheryl Casteen, a multimedia eco-artist and Co-Organizer of the Saint Peter Art Stroll, brings more than 40 years of creative work across the United States and internationally, including projects in New Zealand, Germany, Russia, and Armenia. Both artists will have work on display, with select pieces available for purchase.

About The Saint Peter Art Stroll
The Saint Peter Art Stroll began in November of 2022, after three local artists met and planned for the first annual Stroll. The first two years have been successful and the event continues to grow. 2025 marks the fourth annual Art Stroll. We look forward to once again providing an opportunity to connect local artists with the greater Saint Peter Minnesota community, and showcase the amazing local talent that might otherwise remain unknown. During the Stroll, people will have the opportunity to visit local artist
studios, galleries, and participating businesses that have opened their spaces for artists to display their work. Several artists will also be providing demonstrations and workshops.
