Cox House Summer Tours
Saturdays, June 6, June 20, July 18, August 1, August 15, and August 29 | 1–4 PM
We'd love to have you stop by this summer! Step inside the beautifully preserved 1871 Cox House and explore at your own pace. No reservations needed, just come on in.
When you arrive, we'll give you a brief introduction and a printed guide to help you wander from room to room and experience what life looked like in Victorian-era St. Peter. What did the Cox family value? How did they spend their time? Come take a look and see what you discover.
This summer, we're also featuring a special exhibit on the main floor connecting the Cox House story to the national Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence exhibit, with added local context through the life of Lillien Cox Gault. We think you'll find it fascinating.
Admission is free. Free-will donations are gratefully accepted and help us care for this beautiful historic home.
Please note: The Cox House is not fully accessible. There are steps and uneven ground.
