❄️The unofficial end of summer happened when those gorgeous fireworks were released this weekend at the Forest Hills Labor Day Festival. That means that the cooler weather is right around the corner. There are many adults, children, and babies who are in need of items to keep warm. As you are going through your cold weather gear, please consider hanging onto what you no longer need or fit into. Our annual Spread The Warmth coat and winter gear event is happening from the morning of Friday, October 31st through the afternoon of Sunday, November 3rd (weather pending) at the Berwind Wayside Festival Park. ❄️

🧥🧤 If you are not familiar, it is a give and take. Items are left by community members (lightly used and new) for people to take what they need. Last year hundreds of coats found new homes along with many gloves, hats, boots, and blankets. This event is not manned so people can get what they need with no judgement. We just ask you only take what you need and only leave winter gear and cold weather items in lightly use or new condition.🧤🧥
