Historic St. Mary’s City

Step into Maryland’s first capital as Historic St. Mary’s City opens for the 2026 season. Wander the Woodland Indian Hamlet, explore the reconstructed Town Center, meet costumed interpreters at the Godiah Spray Tobacco Plantation, and visit the Maryland Dove as history comes to life across the landscape. From archaeology to living history, there’s something new to discover with every visit.

Museum admission. Free for members. Admission: $15 adults, $13 seniors, $10 ages 6-18, free to ages 5 and under and members.
