Experience a fresh perspective on animal photography this fall at the Minnesota Zoo. This three-part workshop is designed for photographers of all levels, offering educational guidance, hands-on shooting, and expert feedback to help you capture stunning images of the animals at the zoo, including their newest resident—the red panda!
• WORKSHOP OVERVIEW •
In this first part of our workshop, we'll begin with an educational online seminar, led by NCE Photo Expert Katelynne. Photographing animals at the zoo in the fall offers unique opportunities, including capturing seasonal colors and interesting animal behaviors. Katelynne will also discuss lens selection, composition tips, and techniques for shooting through fences and glass. The seminar will run for about an hour, followed by a Q&A portion at the end—bring your questions!
The second part of the workshop will take us to the Minnesota Zoo, on Saturday, October 25th. This is where you will put what you’ve learned into practice! Parking and admission fees are included in the registration fee.
For the third part of the workshop, we'll sort through our photos from the zoo and wrap things up in our Online Image Review on Thursday, October 30th.
