🌟 Introduction to Rock Tumbling Course

Did you know the average number of times a hobby rock tumbler is used is once?! We are here to change that. This hands-on class, taught by local author Jim Magnuson, will give you the skills, tips, and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of polishing agates and gemstones.
What to Expect:
🪨 Learn the basics of rock tumbling (perfect for beginners or those wanting better results).
⚙️ Explore different kinds of tumblers, makes, and models—we will show you the machines we’ve tested for years.
🔧 Find out what supplies you’ll need and how to use them.
🙌 Get hands-on: select stones, load tumblers, add grit/polish, and experience the cleanup process.
✨ Take home a few polished stones (since tumbling takes 2–6 weeks, we will provide these for you).
Class Details:
👨👩👧 Ages 10 and up
👉 Participants ages 10–17 must be accompanied by an adult (adults can just supervise or pay the fee if they would like to participate).
⌛ 2.5 hours of lively, noisy, and FUN learning!
