Our presenters will share valuable insights about how they represent us and how government functions on the regional and state government levels
Our first meeting for the 2025 - 2026 year will feature our guest speakers, Corinne Pierog and Anna Moeller.
Corinne is a member of our Branch and is very active in Kane County government. She serves as Kane County Board Chairperson and is the founding chair of the Kane County Democratic Women. Corinne has been a resident of Kane County for over twenty years and is very involved with issues that impact residents of Kane County.
Anna Moeller is the state representative for the 43rd district of the Illinois Legislature. Her district includes Elgin and she is a member of the Elgin AAUW Branch. Representative Moeller serves on many committees and chairs a number of them. In addition to her work in Springfield, Representative Moeller actively communicates with her constituents and hosts community events and discussion sessions which are open to everyone.
