Everything has energy. We carry energy within us, from the moment we’re conceived. The meditative vibrations created by the sound bowls resonate deep within your body, compressing and relaxing our cells, literally massaging them.
This tremendously relaxing modality has been shown to: decrease stress and anxiety, decrease pain, increase immune production, increase mood, increase brain function and memory processing, improve sleep, increase self-esteem, and calm the body.
Sounds you hear, impact what’s happening inside your body. We all can find ourselves stuck in certain areas; sound bowl/sound bath meditations help to stimulate inner healing needed to move this energy.
Everyone responds differently to sound healing. In fact, each session may promote different results. The intention is to balance the body, the mind and the spirit. You may experience increased feelings of well being. I encourage you to drink plenty of water, ensure you are resting and to eat in a healthy manner after each session, as well as limiting caffeine and alcohol. Some people experience an increase in body temperature, slowed heart rate, warm, tingly sensations, or no sensation at all. Others may experience increased tiredness, get or release headaches, laughter, experience unexpected feelings or thoughts, visualizations of color, emotional release, or even a sensation of floating. These are all a normal reaction to sound healing.
