Learn to Ski & Ride at Hard’ack
For kids ages 6 and up
The hill is closed to the public on lesson nights, creating a safe, dedicated space just for our registered participants. The hill will close immediately following lessons. Bundle up and join us—because if you can ski or ride Hard’ack, you can go anywhere!
PLEASE NOTE: Each participant must provide their own equipment. Lessons are weather (snow! ??) dependent.
Snowboard lesson registration is open below. Ski lesson registration will be added as soon as we receive confirmation from the ski team.

These classes are designed for beginners.
The tow rope can be tough on gloves—please send glove protectors or older gloves.
Members of the BFA Snowboard Team and other community volunteers lead these sessions. These talented athletes help guide kids through the basics and share tips and tricks to build confidence on the snow.
Our Philosophy
We want this to be a positive and comfortable introduction to skiing and riding. If temperatures are extremely cold, lessons may be shortened to around 30 minutes, depending on how the kids are doing—because it’s no fun learning when you’re freezing!

The schedule may change due to weather, hill conditions, or adjustments to the competition schedules of our instructors. We’ll do our best to keep you updated as quickly as possible with any necessary changes.
