Bolt Action Open Day

It’s time for another gaming open day at Dark Fire Cafe and this time it’s for Bolt Action!



Bolt Action is a tabletop miniature wargame, created by Warlord Games, set during World War II. Players command armies of 28mm-scale miniature soldiers, vehicles, and artillery, using order dice for randomized turn activation to complete objectives on a battlefield. The game focuses on tactical platoon-level combat, allowing players to build armies from a variety of major and minor WWII powers and enjoy historically-themed scenarios or competitive play.



Our open days give both new players and veterans an event where they can get games in and meet other players. Some of our community champions will be on hand to co-ordinate games and facilitate demos for aspiring generals. ��



You don’t need to have minis to take part, but if you do bring them along! There’s no painting requirement for models, so just bring what you’ve got. All terrain will be provided. ��



Turn up any time between 10am and 2pm, and players are welcome to play until the cafe closes at 6pm.
