Hosted by NLHG of Bonner County, ID
Join us this September as Shamra Kline, alternative cooking expert, guides us through a variety of economical skills in the kitchen. Topics she will cover range from nut milks to non-dairy cheeses, as well as how to incorporate food scraps into recipes to reduce waste.
Stay right after the Gathering for a FREE make & take! A water-resistant match storage survival straw. We will supply straws, strike-anywhere matches, scissors, and a few lighters. If you bring your own lighters, there will be less waiting for a turn. If you want to add anything inside your straws instead, bring that too!
ALL LEVELS of interest and experience in homesteading are welcome! No acreage or livestock is required. This journey is different for each of us. We respect and celebrate that.
This group is all about doing things at HOME inSTEAD of going to the store. Remember, homesteading doesn't mean you have to do it all yourself.... come build a homesteading support system.
LADIES 16 and older & nursing babies under 1 are welcome. Please find alternate care for your other children. Thank you, and we can’t wait to see you!
We are a nonprofit and not politically or religiously affiliated.
