Join us for the Hamptons Pride Film Series at Bay Street Theater—held the last Sunday of every month at 4pm—as we present Gods and Monsters, the poignant and haunting story inspired by the final days of Frankenstein (1931) director James Whale.

Ian McKellen delivers an Academy Award®-nominated performance as Whale, a once-powerful Hollywood filmmaker now retired and in failing health. His loyal housekeeper Hanna (Lynn Redgrave) disapproves of his sharp wit and revolving door of lovers, but everything changes when Whale befriends his new gardener, Clayton Boone (Brendan Fraser), a former Marine and Korean War veteran. What begins as curiosity evolves into a complex, unexpected friendship in this moving exploration of memory, identity, and human connection.
