Imbolc falls in the middle of winter, halfway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox and marks the stirring of new life within the Earth - a time to awaken from our winter slumber, shed what we no longer need from the old year and find inspiration in the world to birth new ideas.
During this beautiful gathering we will honour the turning of the Wheel of the Year, connecting us to the energy of Imbolc and the ancient ones and to reflect on what nature has to teach us at this time and how we can use this wisdom to develop and grow as well as honouring the Goddess Brigid, working with her energy of Imbolc for healing, inner guidance and wisdom.
Drum practitioner Nicci will take you on a journey of your heart to meet with the Celtic goddess Brigid, the patroness of fertility and healing.
In addition to honoring the goddess Brigid, Imbolc is also a time of celebrating the return of the light the coming of the sun.
In this sacred space we come together as the energy wraps itself around us, healing and igniting the spark of creativity, and purifying that which is damaged and no longer serves us.
