We spend so much of our time and energy trying to fix external problems — yet our unhappiness doesn’t truly come from the outside world. According to Buddha’s teachings, it arises from the negative karma we’ve created through harmful actions in the past.
During this weekend retreat, we’ll learn how to purify this karma and let go of past negativity through the powerful practice of Vajrasattva, the Buddha of purification. By engaging in this practice, we can remove obstacles, lighten our heart, and create the causes for lasting peace and happiness.
Each session includes:
- Guided meditation & brief teaching
- Chanted prayers
- Recitation of the Vajrasattva mantra
Focus on the Four Opponent Powers: reliance, regret, opponent force, and promise
Participants are encouraged to bring a mala. No prior experience is needed—everyone is welcome!
