Gentle Breathwork Guided Meditation Class - Safety Bay Yacht Club

Let's try a little experiment! Take 10 seconds for yourself and check your breathing right now. Are your breaths 4+ seconds long in, then out? Of deep, gentle breaths through the nose, nourishing and relaxing your body? Or quick shallow 2-3 second breaths through your mouth, causing fight or flight tension? For most people in this hectic modern world, its the second one. Without realising it. Our breath is our constant energetic connection to the world and our surroundings. It keeps us alive, and the way we breathe affects our health and wellbeing so much. Yet we rarely think of it, or pay attention to it. When you're satisfied, you let out a long ahhh vibration from your chest. When you're startled you , its a quick in breath from your throat and instant tightening. We can mindfully use our breath to relax, curb anxiety, feel more energetic, reduce pain, and much more. Its an incredible, free resource!

Come and join us for 4 weeks of beautiful breathing. Suitable for everyone. We will learn relaxation breath. Spherical and central channel breathing, and belly to chest breathing. Feel the incredible difference it makes with a short daily session. And use it anytime, for any situation. Relaxed, no pressure, fun class.

What to Bring - Water bottle - 1st 3 weeks will be sitting on a chair (provided) 4th week will be laying down , so bring a yoga mat or similar and a pillow. Several provided for those that dont have one.
