Please join us for the annual harvest of our Estate Tempranillo!
We're starting at 7:30am or whenever you arrive (we know many of you will drive more than 30 to 60+ minutes to help us, thank you in advance).
Wear comfy/cool clothes, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and closed toed shoes please. We'll provide gloves and picking shears, but if you've got your own favorites, feel free to bring them. We'll also have water, snacks, and great music playing to keep you feeling festive and looking forward to lunch with vino when we're done in the late morning.
PLEASE RSVP! All volunteer friends will receive a lil thank you gift (updated t-shirts similar to last year's) for helping us achieve our goals and dreams.
As usual we have inside and non-vineyard related tasks available. We'll ask some friends to help mid-morning, setting up lunch and getting the wine & glasses ready for post harvest celebrating. So if you wish to join us, but don't like the outside heat factor, let us know, we'll welcome you to the Hartman hospitality team.
We'll be making traditional Rioja inspired full bodied red wine, headed for barrel aging this winter (and perhaps another gold medal?) and Krista's Red, the KK's Happy Accident stainless steel aged Estate Tempranillo is returning to production for 2025.
Processing of the grapes will happen after lunch if you're interested in sticking around, or if you aren't availabe until the afternoon, come join us on our new Crush Pad.
Feel free to share this event with friends we may not be connected with yet. We welcome lots of pickers and helpers. Thanks in advance for your tremendous support.
