Wessenden waterfall

Lay by on Wessenden Head Rd, Meltham, Holmfirth HD9 4EU

We will meet in the lay by car park at 09:30am and start the day right with a scenic walk to the falls. Parking is limited in the lay by (other roadside parking nearby) Hence meeting early! There are no toilets, but there is a nice mound if you need a wild wee. There is a pub about a mile down the road for refreshments/toilets after the walk :)

The walk itself is about 2 miles to the waterfall and 2 miles back, we will take the same route out and back. The walk is gentle (honestly hehe). And starts with a long gentle down hill which we then have to come back up on the way back. Clear marked paths all the way there and back.

Bring your swim gear warm layers, water and a flask of something warm plus snacks. Good sturdy waterproof boots for walking.
