HUMANS! We've got a great In a Nutshell show coming up for September! Guess who's coming to The Sofia to tell us a story?
Joe Hunter, the runner-up of Season 48 Survivor! Everyone who watched the season knows his story was an emotional one. Not only did he befriend the first openly autistic person on the show and stay loyal to her until the end, but he was also dealing with profound grief from losing his sister to domestic violence. Joe is a Sacramento firefighter and a classic "good guy," and we're excited to have him come to our stage!
We also have the very talented and clever Adam Strauss, a performer who has a great deal to say about magic mushrooms and the fallibility of the self. Adam's written and performed all kinds of award-winning solo shows, and he's probably going to take us all on a flight of fancy that will have us laughing at him, ourselves, at the whole dang world.
STORY POPE JP Frary is heading back to our stage for another master-crafted tale! We love JP and can't wait to see what he does with our theme, Unreal Reality. This story could literally go anywhere, folks, ANYWHERE!
And Amy Bee is gonna come tell a modest tale about moving across the country to change her reality, only to find out reality doesn't quite work like that.
It's gonna be a great night of story and community. Get your tix early, this one could sell out fast! We can't wait to see all of you out there in the (un)real world, humans!
