Come join the Sacramento ADF Druids as we celebrate Spring Equinox with ritual and song, and our famous post-ritual potluck! We're looking forward to seeing you there.
We assemble at 1:00 pm. Ritual begins at 1:30 & lasts around an hour, followed by food and fellowship afterwards. We do not close a circle, so you are allowed to arrive late; we simply ask that you join us quietly.
Also called Mabon, the Equinox marks the second harvest. We will thank the Earth Mother and share our bounty by a donation to our supported organization, which doesn't accept food beyond it's expiration date. We hope that you will be able to join us in donating this year. We are specifically seeking donations of the following items:
Bottled Water, Energy bars, Non Perishable food
Toothpaste/Brush, Combs, Feminine Hygiene
Socks, Under wear, Gloves/mittens, Hats/Stocking caps, Scarves
Blanket, or a gift card that can be used to purchase needed items.
We'd love for you to bring a dish to share in one of our famous potlucks, but no one will be turned away from the table for lack of contribution; you'll find that our spread is always impressive and delicious, and many food sensitivities are regularly taken into account. Also, if you wish, feel free to bring a personal offering for any Ancestor, Nature Spirit, or Deity of your choosing to offer during our Praise Offerings. We welcome you to pray at our good fire!
When: Sunday, September 21 at 1:30p
Where: Unitarian Universalist Society of Sacramento (UUSS)
Room 12
2425 Sierra Blvd, Sacramento, California 95825
You can find us in Room 12 which is around the back to the right, all the way at the end of the parking lot, and don't forget, ritual begins at 1:30.
Hope to see you there!
