California Biodiversity Park Tour

Celebrate California Biodiversity Week by taking a free guided tour through one of the most beautiful State Capitol grounds in the nation. We will discover the rich biodiversity in this 40-acre urban park including amazing flora from around the globe and many local birds and pollinators. Hear fascinating stories about the memorials and monuments dedicated to California’s heroes. Stroll through the refreshing World Peace Rose Garden and admire the varieties of colors and scents. Notes:

• Meet at 13th Street and Capitol Avenue.
• Program will be cancelled during inclement weather.
• Registration is not required, but recommended.
• Walk-ins are accepted if we do not exceed our tour capacity of 35 people.
• Groups of 20 or more must register in advance.
