Get ready for an exciting educational experience with full-sized horse dummies and team work! kaycie and Roger will teach life-saving techniques, equipment and supplies to have on hand, and what to do while waiting for help to arrive.
This is a day-long event with a break for lunch (light lunch will be offered, or you can bring your own) and an approximate end time of 4pm.
We will all be split into teams and taught things like how to roll and move an animal out of its stall or trailer, etc.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and supportive footwear.
Admission is $100 and all proceeds from this training go directly towards The Good Citizenship Project and supporting the people it benefits. The Good Citizenship Project is a 1:1 Job Skills Training program based at Phoenix Rising Farm in Harvard, Ma., and caters to people with neurodivergent backgrounds.
