Herbal Folk Craft: A day of crafting traditional herbal remedies and nature based art.
Hosted at the beautiful United Plant Savers Botanical Sanctuary in Rutland, Ohio. Instructors include Maureen Burns, Keely Lechler, Alice Proffit, and Nancy Baur.
9:30- 11:00 Herbs for Winter Wellness
Join Keely Lechler and Maureen Burns for a hands-on class sharing knowledge on traditional, native Appalachian plants used for winter health and collectively making elderberry syrup.
11:10- 12:30pm Salves with Alice Proffitt
Learn the basics of herbal salve making in this hands-on workshop with Alice Proffitt of Legacy Salves.

1:35- 2:40 Forest Walk
3:00- 4:30 Branch Weaving with Nancy Baur
Students will choose their branch from the land and use the materials provided to create their own unique work of art. This is an excellent way to upcycle materials and make a memorable piece of art to remember the experience.
Workshop Cost $75-$300 (Lunch provided)
