Fireflies Paint & Sip at Lilac Hedge Farm

About the Event:

What better way to enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the farm than to make your own Firefly Inspired painting while enjoying the beautiful scenery? Plus, we have great music playing on the Farm Stage when the class ends.

Unleash your inner artist as you create a masterpiece while enjoying your favorite beverages. Whether you're a seasoned painter or a beginner, this event is perfect for everyone. Grab your friends and come have fun with us!

You'll learn from our staff artist, Val, and create a piece of artwork you'll be proud of while picking up skills and learning tips and tricks. The exact painting you'll be creating in the class is secret until the event starts!

No painting experience needed, but this is for adults and young adults (teens are welcome with their guardian).

Your paid ticket also includes a ticket to enjoy a beer, wine, cider, or seltzer from our Farm Bar. With dozens of options on tap and in cans, you'll have plenty of options. Two non-alcoholic beverages can be substituted for those not consuming alcohol.

About Your Teacher:

Val is a veteran art teacher who resides in Rutland. Her favorite things to teach are painting, drawing, and mixed media. She loves helping people of all ages find their creative potential and joy in art making. When she isn’t busy momming or working at the farm, she loves hiking, painting and making altered books.

About our Farm:

Lilac Hedge Farm is a Massachusetts farm working on 500+ acres. We offer pasture raised meat through home delivery, shipping, farmers markets and a year round farm stand. At our Rutland farm (216 Wachusett Street) we operate our Farm Bar, Farm Kitchen, and live music every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from May-October. We have dozens of animals to visit on the farm from cows and ducks to ostrich, emu, yaks, and a camel!
