Quilters and quilt-enthusiasts, please plan to join QUILTEROO’S for an annual airing of vintage quilts and an exciting art quilt show on Saturday, June 7th, from 9 AM to 3 PM! We are preparing to display vintage quilts outdoors and hang the “Honey, I Shrunk Quilt!” Art Quilt Challenge entries indoors.
What’s Happening?
- Vintage Quilt Display: Immerse yourself in the beauty of our personal collection of vintage quilts showcased outside. These timeless treasures have pattern information and a brief history of the quilt, when available.
- Art Quilt Challenge: Experience the creativity of local quilters as their art challenge quilts hang beautifully in our classroom. You won’t want to miss this unique interpretation of the “Honey, I Shrunk the Quilt” theme! Be sure to vote on your favorite entry for the Viewer’s Choice award.
- Trunk Show from Anka’s Treasures: Delight in stunning quilts and table runners from Anka’s Treasures, a renowned quilt pattern company celebrated for its innovative designs and quality patterns. Check out their amazing work and get inspired to start your next project! Be sure to check QUILTEROO’S class calendar for classes on the samples displayed.
