Many of the items we grow are from seed saved from year to year. Come and get hands-on Experience with Nan Braun of Patchwork Farms, and take home seeds from some of our favorite flowers. We will set up work tables in the hoop house to protect us from the weather.

Nan has been growing since she was a small child and has successfully saved seeds for decades. She applies knowledge gained from growing up with a horticulturalist Dad, as well as a master's in Biology as well as experience to select seeds that Flowers Feed Folks uses for their Bokay Materials.

Topics will include hands-on tips in the hoop house on how to harvest seeds, then time at your workbench with seed heads that we have been saving all summer to learn and practice how to process the seeds and store them.

Packets of seeds make lovely gifts or are excellent reminders of hope to get you through the winter's cold and dark days.
