Meet @ Kawakawa library
The Kawakawa community are clever, kind and proud - let’s show how we care by joining together in a group rubbish clean up this weekend.
Everyone is welcome!
We will be meeting for safety briefing/area assignment outside the front of the Library for a 10am start.
You do not need any experience, but if you can please bring: sun protection, drinking water and sensible shoes for your own safety.
I have organised some rubbish bags, safety vests and gloves to be provided, but if you have your own please bring those as well so we have enough to go around.
Yes children can come also but under 16s MUST be supervised by an attentive adult please.
Hopefully we will have enough volunteers to be able to cover the streets, path and grass areas between the railway station, all the way to Johnson park.
If you have further questions or would like to offer extra resources / assistance, please send me (Charlotte) a message here on this page or email

If you are unable to attend on the day but would like to help, please consider sharing this with your circles to encourage as many people as possible to join us! Many hands make light work and it is always a rewarding and uplifting experience to be part of positive community action.

Charlotte
