Join us for 2 events on 1 day only held at the Rushville Animal Shelter!
THE FIRST EVENT: Best Friends State Wide Adoption Event will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. For every animal adopted on this date, we will receive $50 per dog and $25 per cat from Best Friends Animal Society! ALL available animals will either be free or reduced price.
Refundable deposit adoption fees will be reduced by 50%. This means, that if you want to adopt a dog who isn't spayed or neutered yet, the refundable adoption fee will be reduced from $100 to $50. You will have 90 days to get them fixed, provide the required documents to us and we will GIVE you back your $50 PLUS another $50! Cats will be reduced from $50 to $25, with the adopter receiving $50 in return!
All adoptions are first come, first serve.

THE SECOND EVENT: Free Pop-Up Vaccine & Microchip Clinic for CATS ONLY will be held from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm!
Again, this is NOT FOR DOGS! We had several cat vaccines and microchips left over from our August event and wanted to offer another opportunity to get more of those kitties vaccinated to keep them healthy and microchipped to find their people when they are lost.
Unlike our August event, we will be restricting to Rush County residents ONLY! Since we are doing this clinic at the shelter we need to limit the number of people and cats who want to participate. Thank you for understanding!
The clinic is first come, first serve. It will be indoors - so no worries on the weather conditions! Rabies vaccines will be offered. All cats must be in carriers. If you need a carrier, you are welcome to borrow one from us for free!
Cats/Kittens must be:
6 weeks or older for the FVRCP vaccine
8 weeks or older for the microchip
3 months or older for the Rabies vaccine
The clinic is FREE, but we do and appreciate donations towards the costs so we may continue to offer future clinics!
