Join us on Thursday, September 11th for a quiet, heartfelt walk in honor of the lives lost and the heroes who stepped forward on one of the most difficult days in our nation's history.
We will begin gathering at 6:00 PM on the corner of Park Rd and W 11th Street, near the High School football field. From there, we’ll walk together—carrying battery-operated candles—along the sidewalk that runs beside Lions Path, into Veterans Memorial Park North. The walk will take about 15 minutes and lead us across the Veterans Memorial Bridge, where we’ll pause in the open grassy area for a brief but meaningful ceremony to reflect, remember, and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice and those who ran toward danger to help others.
If walking isn't an option, we invite you to meet us directly at the park for the ceremony. This event is open to all and is meant to bring our community together in remembrance, gratitude, and unity.
