Regional Ramble Higham Ferrers – Stanwick Lakes, Northamptonshire

Description Stanwick a unique 750-acre countryside attraction and nature reserve located in the heart of Northamptonshire’s Nene Valley. There are extensive, open spaces and paths that families, walkers, cyclists and nature lovers can explore. Our route starts from Saffron Road goes over the A45 and River Nene and along the disused railway line into Stanwick Lakes. The route takes in Sandpiper, Damsel and Grebe Lakes. Where we can spot a variety of wildlife.
