Battle of Britain Commemoration and Blue Plaque Unveiling

Join us for a special commemoration event for the Battle of Britain 85th Anniversary and an unveiling of the latest Blue Plaque to honour a resident of Higham Ferrers who fought in the Battle

11.30am onwards - 12 Market Square (Wilson Browne Solicitors)
A short ceremony unveiling a new Blue Plaque at the birthplace of Edward Dixon Crew

12.30pm - 3.30pm - A special commemoration event at the Bede House with entertainment from The Candy Bars singing 1940s wartime favourites. There will also be tea/coffee and cake available to purchase and a small exhibition about Edward Dixon Crew and his role in the Battle of Britain
