*The Bulldog Winners Trophy Rules*
The Bulldog Winners Trophy will be held under the overall control of the East Midland Bulldog Club & Manchester & Counties Bulldog Club. Organisation and running of the event will be under the control of the two said clubs. Each club will appoint two delegates to make decisions regarding the running of the event. Each club will be responsible for ½ of costs or profits after outgoings have been deducted.
The aim of which is to keep costs to a minimum. However, any major expenditure must be agreed by both clubs.
All proceeds from event will be divided between both clubs, any loss made by the event will also be divided between both clubs. Accounts for the event will be prepared by the Secretaries of each club and notified to clubs as soon as possible.
Changes to the format or qualification due to special circumstances or events must be agreed by both clubs.
Each clubs committee will be kept informed of any format changes and those changes will be notified publicly on social media pages.
The event will be held under KC regulations.
A separate PayPal account will be held for the sole purpose of the event under control of the elected person by both clubs.
*Awards*
Awards will be given to Best Overall Winner.
This is a knock out / dual competition.
Entries are limited to 64 as per the KC Event Licence.
Entry and participation to the event is at the committee’s discretion. Their decision is final.
*Judges*
Three Judges for the event will be selected. One by each club, and one judge chosen jointly. Only the two Club Secretaries will know who all three judges are until the evening of the event, whereby the Judge’s will be announced. The criteria for judges selection will be:
Judges to have awarded CC’s or CACIB’s previously, except in exceptional circumstances.
Will not have judged the breed within 12 months, and will not be judging the breed in the 12 month period following the event.
Not to have judged the event in the previous three years.
The aim is to have a minimum of two Breed Specialist Judges wherever possible.
The names of the Judges will remain secret until the evening announcement. Failure to maintain secrecy of the appointment may mean cancellation of appointment at the discretion of the Club Secretary’s.
*Qualifications criteria*
From the period of 1st January to 31st December, the year preceding the event.
Dogs qualify for the event in the following way:
UK CC winners
UK Res. CC winners
CACIB winners
RCACIB winners
Entries open 1st November 2025 on a first come first serve basis (spaces will be held to accommodate for the last remaining UK Championship Shows of the year). Entries are limited to two dogs per owner/s. If any spaces are not filled by 10th January, we will accept further qualified dogs by owners with two dogs entered already.
This is a ticket only event. All people attending, including owners of dogs entered, must purchase a ticket. Event ticket price - £40 including entry of qualified dog. (If wishing to enter any subsequent qualified dogs with no further ticket purchase, the additional entry fee per dog is £20. Dog must be in same ownership as the first dog entered).

Any damage left in hotel rooms or hotel grounds, the person or persons will be billed directly, reported to the Kennel Club and forbidden for three years from entering the two Breed Clubs. It is essential that the venue and hotel rooms are left in a clean and undamaged state.
