Octoberfest & Volunteer Workday

Join the beavers for a day of camaraderie and cleaning up some of our favorite zones. Black Mountain will likely spin the lifts for all volunteers that arrive on time. This is an amazing time of year with perfect temperatures, combined with foliage. Dress in the appropriate work attire for the season, including PPE. Bring your own loppers and hand saws. We have a fair amount of loaners to distribute. Chainsaws and brush saw used by pre-approval only. Please sign up to this event as soon as possible as it helps with preplanning work assignments. As usual, we will celebrate around the fire pit with an apres potluck. Thank you for helping to make black mountain such a joy to ski and ride.
