Tales of the Emerald Isles told for adult audiences.
Join professional storyteller Maria Credali for an evening of spellbinding storytelling featuring the myths, legends, poetry and folklore of Ireland. Drawing from her Irish heritage , Maria will share some of the stories and shenanigans that her Great Gran told her about, as they sat together by the fire many, many years ago. Expect leprechauns and laughter, riddles and rhymes, and the occasional spot of poetry by the wonderful W.B.Yeats. A feel good night.
The bar will stay open after the performance for socializing, music and song, - depending on who turns up - in the style of a traditional Irish session. Musicians and singers, poets and jokers are very welcome. Please let staff know at the start of the evening if you would like to perform after the show.
Tickets £10. The Rugeley Rose. 17th March. Bar opens at 7.30pm, storytelling performance 8pm-9pm (approx) with an informal style session in the bar afterwards. Musicians/singers are most welcome!
