Spend an hour in the winter woods discovering the wildlife that shares our landscape. We’ll explore the basic anatomy of animal tracks, learn to identify different types of scat, interpret common gaits, and recognize other subtle signs that animals leave behind.
Please dress appropriately for the weather. A rain date is scheduled for the following weekend (January 24th, 2026) and will be announced the evening before if needed (January 16th, 2026).
In the event that both dates must be canceled, you will receive a full refund for the class fee. If you would still like to keep your field guide, pickup or delivery may be arranged and you will not receive a refund for the guide. If you do not want your field guide, you will receive a refund. Field guides will be ordered on January 10th.
Cancellations made after January 10th will result in the forfeit of the class fee and field guide fee, if applicable.
Class is being hosted by and located at Twilight Dreams Farm, 3 Botsford Hill Road, Roxbury, CT 06783. Warm beverages and light snacks will be served at the end of class.
