What is Kaleidoscope Play and Learn™?
Kaleidoscope Play & Learn™ (KPL) is a free weekly facilitated playgroup offered to caregivers (parent, grandparent, family friend, guardians, sitters) with children birth to five years old.
Play and Learn™ groups are not only fun for you and your child, but they give you as the parent or caregivers an opportunity to interact with your child in a structured environment while working with your child on social-emotional, language, cognitive and motor development.
Children who have never been in a formal childcare setting particularly benefit from Play and Learn™ groups as they have opportunities to learn and practice important social-emotional skills that will help them become successful in school.
The Play Group Leader also helps parents support their child with learning new skills, as well as connects caregivers together who have children experiencing similar developmental stages. Children's activities may include free play in the Learning Center, storytime, music, painting, sand/water play, crafts, and so much!
There is no cost to participate and you may join at any time. Play group facilitator is also fluent in Spanish.
