EVENT DESCRIPTION:
At Little Parrot Farm, nature is a learning lab to explore and learn how we work together with nature. In the flower and harmony gardens, see the unique, foreign veggies. Learn about the busy bee pollinators and composters that help our plants and enrich our farm soil. Witness farmers harvesting to bring “farm-to-table” produce to the local community. Look at how microgreens are produced. Smell and touch farm materials used to make natural, home products such as honey soap and herb infused oil. Little Parrot Farm provides temporary and permanent homes to their sanctuary animals: including rabbits, alpacas, dogs, chickens, chinchillas, and pigs.
This field trip includes interactive and hands-on activities for children to understand how the farm combines regenerative agriculture with animal rescue.
You may bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on their tables after the tour.

The Event Listing may be "publicly" viewable; HOWEVER, the event is only for HOMESCHOOL students in the 12th grade and below. Parents/guardians must accompany all minors. Our events are NOT "Drop-off" events. Adults must sign-up with a student. We do not offer an "Adult Only" option for our Events.
