The Round Rock Police Department will once again team up with the U.S. Army to host our annual food drive benefiting the Round Rock Area Serving Center.
Donations of nonperishable food items will be collected from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, at the following H-E-B locations in Round Rock:
- H-E-B, 250 University Blvd.
- H-E-B, 1700 East Palm Valley Blvd.
- H-E-B, 3750 Gattis School Rd.
- H-E-B, 603 Louis Henna Blvd.
The Round Rock Area Serving Center provides food assistance to low-income individuals and families in crisis through its food distribution program.
To wrap up the event, participants are invited to take part in a two-mile hike at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, starting at Sky Ridge Plaza (2000 S IH 35) and ending at the Serving Center. Participants will carry bags filled with donated food from the collection drive. The public is encouraged to join the hike alongside members of the Round Rock Police Department and the U.S. Army.
