Singing Resistance

Join faith leaders from across Schenectady County at Messiah Lutheran Church as we build a community through story and song that promotes neighborliness, the rule of law, immigrant rights, protects democracy and affirms the dignity and worth of every single person. We will sing secular songs and songs of resistance from various faith traditions, interspersed with stories from our neighbors affected by rising authoritarianism and information on how you can get involved to support them. Feel free to bring drums, tambourines, and other musical instruments! All people of faith and goodwill are invited to attend!
