About the event

School Break Program: Making Cyanotypes in the Autumn Sun
The autumn equinox marks the time when the day becomes shorter than the night. Let’s use the sunlight while we can to make some art! Learn about cyanotypes, a kind of printmaking that involves harnessing the sun to make precise copies of objects. We will see how this technology has been used throughout history, including blueprints from SCHS’s collections! We will get outside into nature to craft some prints of our own.

Tickets $10 at https://schenectadyhistorical.org/event/cyanotypes/
