Iti Iti (Teeny Weeny) Show 2025 - The Cassette Tape

Artists are invited to share their unique perspectives and display their creativity through the Compact Cassette Tape exhibition.

In recent years, there has been a resurgence of interest in cassette tapes, with some viewing them as a retro format or a unique listening experience.The cassette's appeal stemmed from its portability, affordability, and the ability to record and rewind tapes. This Material Culture played a significant role in the democratisation of music, allowing people to create and share mixtapes and listen to music wherever they went.
