Quarry Bottom Railway New Coach Launch Weekend

For the past 18 months our volunteers have been working to restore and rebuild a railway coach kindly donated to us by the Statfold Barn Railway.

Unlike our other coaches that don’t have a roof, the new coach has a covered roof meaning you can stay dry if it rains, or sit out of the sun if the weather is super hot. We’ll run the coach with our existing open coaches so you can choose which type of coach you’d like to ride in.

The coach is finally finished and enters passenger carrying service for the first time this weekend!

Quarry Bottom Railway train rides are £2 adults and £1 children. This is in addition to the site entrance fee of £2.50 adults and £1 children. We hope you’ll come for a ride in our new coach!
