Love and Relationship
All of our relationships provide opportunities for learning, growth and understanding. The relationships with intimacy, whether it be emotional, physical or spiritual are usually the most memorable and contain power for bringing us insights into the gifts and strengths in relationship we brought to life, as well as the potentials for conflict, discomfort and the revealing of life lessons we came here to study and learn from.
Consider your earliest models for love and relationship. Who was there in the energetic and emotional matrix into which you incarnated? As you reflect on the qualities and intensities of emotional connection and communication that were present, consider what patterning you may have taken in as an infant, and even in the womb. Before you had language, what imprints did you receive that were teaching you about relationship in your most impressionable stages? How have these impressions influenced you in the choices you have made when forming your own relationships? What have you learned about your earliest influences, and in what ways have you made pathways that were different from those models?
When under stress as adults we can unconsciously revert to our earliest family learnings. As infants we are helpless to care for ourselves and automatically reach out to family and caregivers for survival. We may make associations between our childhood environment and our strategies for navigating life before we’re ever conscious of doing so. If there are relationship patterns that continue to show up for you, a Constellation that explores what you want to keep from your parents’, grandparents’, and other family members’ experiences of relationship, and what you want to create anew for yourself, can be helpful.
In this seminar we will use the healing method of Family Constellations to explore the deep longings we have within us for intimacy, connection and relationship and the obstacles to manifesting those longings that we carry.
Family Constellations have roots in the ancestral practices of the Zulu people of Kwazulu Natal in Southern Africa; in psychology; and in deep spirituality. The method is a form of divination that provides insight and helps you uncover the forces that you inherited, that move in your life in hidden ways, and that can obscure the greater unique love that you came to the world to give.
Please arrive Friday 6:45pm, and Saturday by 9:15am in order to be settled and ready to begin on time.
On Friday we will do our preparation by introducing ourselves using our Family Questionnaires, provide a demo Constellation for those new to the method, and build our Ancestral Altar. Saturday we will have a full day of Constellations.
Attendance in both sessions is required.

TESTIMONIAL:
I had never considered that I might be loved that much by my mom... In the real world, I have never imagined that to be possible. I know my Mom cares for me, but she never expresses it quite that way. It was like having the love beamed directly into my soul. It is a memory I am using to open new doors with my relationship with my Mom... I was also moved beyond any place I could have imagined when I was the representative for G's father. I felt so much pride for him as my son and yet that was not unfamiliar. I feel the same way about my own son. However, when he knelt down to honor me as his Dad, it was an entirely different story. It was hard to let in that level of honoring, but it was deeply moving. I felt lifted to a place I have never been. Another memory to cherish and live into. -Steven, Atlanta GA
