SAT Aug 30 @ 11AM. Barabbas was a notorious criminal, yet his name means, “son of the father.” Jesus is also referred to as the Son of the Father. During Passover, the multitude demanded that Pilate release Barabbas to them instead of Jesus. Jesus then took Barabbas’ place on the cross between Barabbas’ two accomplices. What does the release of Barabbas in exchange for the crucifixion of Jesus mean for us? This is the fourth and final presentation in our King of Hearts Series.
