When winter feels endless, dinner should feel like a getaway. This January, The Social Table invites you into a night of bright citrus, bold spice, and Modern Mexican flavors at the newly opened Fonda de Paula in Downers Grove. ✨
🍹The evening begins with a welcome cocktail in the restaurant’s stylish bar, followed by tableside guacamole, thoughtfully prepared to bring fresh, vibrant flavors straight to the table.
Guests then gather for a family-style dinner curated by Chef Juan Luis Gonzalez, beginning with a shared appetizer course and featuring two entrées — sizzling Vegetales Fajitas and decadent Filetes en Mole Almendrado — created exclusively for this event. Both entrées are served alongside flowing pitchers of margaritas and sangria that invite lingering conversation and connection. 🫔
🍮 The evening concludes on a sweet note with two desserts served family-style, designed to be shared and savored.
