What: Public Meeting and Hearing hosted by EGLE and EPA to review the proposed hazardous waste operating license / expansion for WDI (Wayne Disposal Inc.) hazardous waste landfill in Van Buren Township

Why: We need to fill the room to show our community is opposed to the landfill expansion

When: September 18, 2025 from 5-9 pm

3:45 – 5 pm Demonstration outside to oppose expansion
5 - 6: Open House with EGLE and U.S. EPA staff
6 - 7: Presentation and Q&A
7 - 9: Public Hearing including public comments
