Autumn brings a harvest of colour and Earth's fruits while mists and mellow sunshine ease us towards the darker half of the year. Winds of change signal the necessary storing and shedding to help us enjoy the comfort of the season.
Shedding pressure, busy-ness, and the non-stop rhythm of life, yoga and mindfulness practice can support us to store our energy and warmth so we have reserves that help us to glow with health, contentment and peace as the temperatures begin to cool and the nights draw in.
This is a Hatha yoga class taught by Yasmin, a teacher and trainer with 20+ years experience and 40+ years of practice.
These classes will be a good way to prepare for and become familiar with the basic Sivananda style yoga postures, breathing practices, meditation and relaxation to boost your energy, ease and calm your mind, increase your suppleness and your understanding of yoga. The classes are small, students warm and friendly. and your teacher is attentive, down-to-earth and very experienced.
If you're a beginner, an improver or more experienced, you will be encouraged to go to your own level and pace, so your practice remains beneficial, safe and just right for you
