Morris dancing

Morris Invasion
On Thursday 15th January 2026 the annual Morris dancing tour of NZ will be visiting Leeston.

A sight to see with 60 plus dancers and musicians from all over NZ and few from over the ditch. They will be shaking their bells, waving their hankies, clashing their sticks, making music and delighting any passers by.

We will be dancing in front of st Johns Church late morning, before heading to the Crate and Barrel for lunch and more dancing.
