What is rucking?

Rucking is the action of walking with weight on your back. Walking with a weighted rucksack (aka backpack) or weighted vest is a low impact exercise based on military training workouts. A weighted rucksack or vest is completely optional.

Rucking has so many benefits:

- it’s simple and anyone can do it

- gets you outside

- burns 3x more calories than walking

- improves posture

- social fitness (aka good for your mental health)
