Tournament based workshops focusing on 3 elements of competition tactics.
Ippon Kumite - Point 2 Point Sparring
Nage Waza Randori - Standing grappling
Ne Waza - Groundfighting
These workshops are specifically designed to encourage engagement within the martial arts for those wanting to delve into competing. Held over 3 hours getting involved with Kickboxing (Ippon Kumite), Ju-Jitsu (Nage Waza Randori) or Ne Waza (BJJ Non Gi Groundfighting). Come along and train in one discipline or all 3 if you wish, known as the 'Eliminator'
Tournaments will be held over the summer and competitors will be assigned category status according to ability.
Competitor categories:
1 copper level - White & red belt equiv
2 bronze level - yellow/orange belt equiv
3 silver level - green/purple belt equiv
4 gold level - Blue/brown III belt equiv
5 platinum level - Brown II/brown I belt equiv
6 diamond level - Black belt equiv
Divisions ~
Copper level can only fight another copper level competitor
Bronze level can only fight another bronze level Etc
£25 per workshop.
Must hold a valid licence. Open to ages 12 years plus.
Full sparring equipment mandatory for the Point 2 Point section ~

Shin & Instep protectors

Groin Cup
Nage Waza requires full gi.
Ne Waza is non gi. Rash guards/t shirts and shorts
